The Majestic Who doesn’t like chocolate? We all love that delectably sweet, rich and creamy treat that suits all occasions. Whether you crave fudge brownies, decadent cakes, or a grande mocha latte; your chocolate desires can, in fact, be satisfied.

And so can the chocoholic desires of your friends and family. Yes indeed, gourmet chocolate gift baskets are a delicious gift and a life saver if you’re looking for that certain perfect present, but just aren’t sure what to buy. Unless they’re allergic to cocoa, or they’re barbarians, they will definitely appreciate your exquisite good taste in getting them a chocolate gift basket.

Are you in search of the ideal gourmet gift baskets? If this is the case, then it’s time to get online and go shopping. One of my favorite brands of chocolate is Godiva and I know what you’re thinking; this stuff is a little bit pricey. Well, I can’t disagree with that. I believe I actually spent 50 bucks on a pound of it once. Yummmmmm.

Godiva has a wonderful selection of fine chocolates to tickle any chocolate lover’s fancy. If you haven’t already checked out their store or website, it’s time to do so. Each chocolate is crafted to perfection, and packs a divine flavor. For me, this is the epitome of fabulous chocolate. It simply makes a great and well respected gift for any occasion.

And then there’s the Chocolate Paradise

The great thing about chocolate is the variety. If you’re looking for chocolate gift baskets with solely dark chocolate; no problem. However, you can also find gourmet chocolate gift baskets with only white or classy milk chocolate as well.

It’s time to get yourself to a classy chocolate store, online or off, and get those gourmet chocolate gift baskets that you’re going to need. These tasty, yet fun gifts work for virtually anyone. But, be warned, you have to be careful here, or you will end up wanting The Majestic all for yourself.

For some reason people sometimes ask me what might be a good Christmas gift for a teenager, like I would know. Our teens are easy. Get the latest video game or Anime video (in Japanese, English dubbing just won’t do!)
As to what other people should get for their kids? Who have interests in theings other than video games? There are a million Christmas gift ideas out there, and no two teenagers are alike, even if they do all tend to dress as if they are.

Ideal Christmas gifts for teens, like teenagers themselves, change. Sometimes it seems they change minute by minute. So you should really talk to your own kid about what they might want for the holiday. While some teens will just give you the death gaze whenever you open your mouth, most of them are pretty forthcoming about possible gifts.

Of course, you might not be able to talk about your Christmas gift for a teenager if your point is to simply surprise them when the holiday comes. This can be a whole lot of fun, and I must recommend it. If you can catch a teen off guard with something that they have always wanted, but not gotten around to asking for, it can be such a festive occasion.

Of course, what is the perfect surprise Christmas gift for a teenager is anyones guess. For a lot of girls, a nice piece of jewelry that they have never seen before might just be the perfect teenage Christmas gift.

For boys, by contrast, they might want a new gadget or gizmo, such as an mp3 player, or a radar detector for their car. Heck, you might even get him a cell phone (and if you do that you might have to get one for her.) Fortunately you can get pretty slick phones for free.

If they just have to have whatever the next hot thing is then you might want to keep an eye on the hot seller lists at all of the big online stores.
I still think that you will have to sound your kid out to figure out the right gift. It’s not like there is some magic formula. We’d all love to be able to type in , “Find me the perfect Christmas gift for my teenager.” If your kids’ friends won’t blab maybe you can ask them.
The important thing with a Christmas gift for a teen is the same as what is important for any Christmas gift. It has to be from the heart. If you take the time to find something that you think your teen will want, they will appreciate it, and it will probably be a whole lot more useful and in much better taste than anything that they would have gotten for themselves.

The fact is that, as long as your Christmas gift for a teenager is from you, they will like it, because what are the holidays for, after all, but spending time with the family and friends. Just don’t get them silly things, like underwear.

What about the Most Popular Christmas Gifts?

When it comes to Christmas gifts, many parents have no idea what the most popular Christmas gifts are for that year. The kids know, and may be wishing for something special, but many times parents are completely knocked for a loop when it comes time to shop.

If it turns out the gift your daughter has been dreaming of is a popular one, it may be hard to find, and if you’re clueless and get the wrong thing…

If you are looking around December 24th, which i tend to do, you may not find it at all.  When this happens, parents panic. That one special gift is important, and if you can’t find it, you feel like you may have let your child down. Or, if you’re like some people, you get her something else and justify it to yourself.

Understandably, many parents try to keep away from the commercialism of Christmas, and try to teach their children there is more to this holiday than getting the most popular Christmas gifts under the tree in the morning. Good luck. The more your kids watch TV and hang out at the mall the less likely they are to accept that logic.
Decommercializing Christmas is wonderful, but it doesn’t mean you can’t find a few special things that they have been wishing for. No matter what your religious convictions are, getting that special present is still part of the magic of Christmas.

When your child has their heart set on a gift that just happens to be one of the most popular Christmas gifts available that year, you may have to search high and low to find it. This can be spending hours on the phone trying to find a store that has it, and then racing there in hopes that it is still on the shelf. There hasn’t been a huge shortage since the Tickle Me Elmo days, but popular toys are still on short demand on occasion.

Long before December 24th, find out what you kids are wishing for, and find out if you can find the one gift they want the most. It may be one of that years most popular Christmas gifts and you don’t want to be left empty handed.

If you can’t find the item in the stores, order it online. Amazon.com has a huge selection of toys and gifts. If the toy is extremely popular you may have to go to eBay to find it, and you may find yourself paying double for the toy. You may be able to back order the toy from another website, but in that case, your child may have to wait until after Christmas to get it.

The most popular Christmas gifts may not be the ones you see on a popular toys list online or in the paper. What ends up being your child’s favorite gift might be something unique that no one around them has. You can find many unique and novelty gifts at specialty stores and on the Internet. It is nice when you can find the perfect gift for your child without spending days on end searching for it.

For web savvy kids this might make a great gift. It’ll be a perfect match for their MySpace sites.

Heh. Who would wait to the last minute to buy their Christmas gifts anyway? I mean, It’s not even October yet, so buy ‘em now.
Ok, as of this writing Christmas is a ways off, but what the heck. Why not procrastinate? The latest statistics, made up by me, say that 82.4% of us will wait till the last minute anyway.
Knowing this, Chris Prillo put together a list of The Best and Worst Last Minute Christmas Gifts, a good reference for those of us who prefer to wait. And wait.

Personal coupons for slave labor and appropriate batteries are always great gifts.

Now how last minute are we talking about? A week before? Christmas eve? It’s the day and you’re stuck?

Get to that mall on christmas eve (go when the stores open.)  For women, jewelry. Nothing more needs be said. For men, fancy tools or gadgets.

Gift certificates to something or someplace the gift-getter likes.

A coupon to the movie and dinner of her choice.

Worst gifts? I’m reminded of my childhood…

underwear.

Clothing might be ok. I mean Batman cotumes are cool (if you kids likes Batman) but underwear?

My wife got a toilet seat once. Her father-in-law thought is was a great gift. Lousy gift for a kid, though.

Worst comes to worst and the day has arrived?

Scribble out a card in your best chicken scratch with an offer for a shopping spree worth (insert amount you’re willing to pay, then double it.)

You might walk away alive…
