Although the bride and groom are the center of attention on their wedding day there are a few other people in attendance who deserve some recognition.

The bridal attendants and the groomsmen are also an essential part of the success of the day. They are the people who make certain the bride looks lovely and is ready for the ceremony and the best man often helps to qualm the groom’s nerves.

Many brides and grooms choose special bridal party gifts to reflect their appreciation to the people participating in their wedding ceremony.

There are many bridal party gifts that are both affordable and practical. Although it’s lovely to give a bridesmaid or groomsmen a wedding photo something special just for them should be added as well.

Watches make great bridal party gifts. A watch is appropriate for either a male or a female. The watches can also be engraved with the date of the wedding and the name of the bride and groom as a reminder of the special day. Giving groomsmen gifts or bridesmaid gifts like this are appreciated because the people receiving them will be able to use them beyond just the day of the wedding.

Key chains are another popular choice in bridal party gifts. Some couples choose to purchase sterling silver key chains that have a locket insert. This way a picture can be included with the key chain. Although placing an image of the bride and groom in the insert might seem appropriate there are other alternatives. The bride might choose to use a special picture of herself and her maid of honor or herself with a bridesmaid. Doing this gives each person who receives one a personalized reminder of their special relationship with the bride or groom.

Another good choice for bridal party gifts is gift certificates. The wedding will be a wonderful day but it also can bring stress. Giving the bridesmaids a day at the spa ( SpaWish.com )or the groomsmen a free round of golf is a great way for them to relax.

Jewelry can also make beautiful bridal party gifts. Matching earrings, bracelets or necklaces for the bridesmaids will add a lovely touch to the wedding photos. The groomsmen will appreciate a nice set of cufflinks that they can use for years to come.

When it comes time for choosing bridal party gifts the bride and groom should consider the personalities of their attendants. If the bride or groom would appreciate the gift than there’s a very good chance that the bridesmaids and groomsmen will as well.

Bar Mitzvah gifts are really the perfect way to show that you care about your friend being accepted into the Jewish community as a full fledged adult. You should be careful in choosing a Bar Mitzvah gift, as in choosing a bridal shower gift, a baby shower gift, or any other kind of gift for a seminal event in anyone’s life because, like bridal shower gifts and baby shower gifts, bar mitzvah gifts really show that you respect the important traditional right of passage that someone is going through.

Well chosen bar mitzvah gifts should reflect something about Jewish tradition, or perhaps about your relattionship with the friend for whom you are choosing the gift. Shabbat candles, a Kiddish Cup, a Sidur, or Talit all represent excellent traditional Bar Mitzvah gifts, however, you should check with the family to make sure that no one already intends to buy this item, as it is traditionally bought by someone very close to the Bar or Bat Mitzvah. There are only so many Kiddish cups you need!

Bat Mitzvah gifts really should be about the same, except that in many traditions, women don’t wear the talis, or the Yalmakah, so you should check ideally before, to see what they believe.

Really, when you get down to it, bar mitzvah gifts can be just about anything you think that the recipient would enjoy. Music can make good bar mitzvah gifts, books can make good bar mitzvah gifts (especially since the Bar Mitzvah is supposed to be a time of learning) and even clothing can make an excellent bar mitzvah gift.

What’s important with bar mitzvah gifts is what is important with all kinds of gifts: that you mean to show your affection by giving the person something that shows that thought went into it. When they receive your gift they’ll know that you care.

Of course, there are more important things than bar mitzvah gifts. Traditionally, even before the bar mitzvah gifts are exchanged, many of the guests have to give speeches to talk about what the day and the person being Bar Mitzvahed mean to them.

If you are close to the person of honor, you might consider having a speech prepared so that you don’t have to improvise on the spot. There can be nothing more embarassing than a hastily prepared speech. It is always good to be ready for any obligation you might have to fulfill in a religious ceremony.

If you have ever been to a bachelorette party, you know what goes on! This should be the time when you have absolutely the best fun before the big day arrives. Sure the wedding shower, rehearsal dinner, and all that shopping is fun too, but nothing competes with the bachelorette party and all those crazy bizarre bachelorette gifts.

Everything from wild lingerie to special toys is totally acceptable; if you don’t bring something a little outrageous you will be viewed as frigid and cast away from the party in disgrace! I’m just kidding of course, but this is a time for the bride to be to relish in all those outrageous bachelorette gifts that she can use in her transition as a married woman!

If you are going to be the hostess, you get to have fun first by checking out all the great party supplies available online. You can get help planning your party by checking out various websites like www.bachelorettesuperstore.com or www.bachelorette.com for all your party needs.

They have lots of different naughty themes to choose from, which are available separately or in party packs containing invitations, envelopes, paper plates, and napkins. These are all essential bachelorette party supplies and the naughtier the better.

Don’t forget the naughty games like the classic ‘pin the tail on the fireman’, or party favors like ‘Dicklets’ or other interestingly shaped items. If you are attending the shower, you can shop online for great bachelorette gifts like dolls, novelty items, honeymooner survival kits, fundies, all kinds of toys, and just about anything else you can think of.

Just make sure your gift is all in fun and good natured; it doesn’t have to be in good taste, just sexy and humorous.

Since alcohol is usually associated with bachelorette parties, a bar or lounge is not a bad place to have the party. If there is a private party room available, you have a variety of options. The most popular of course is to invite a male stripper to approach and seduce the unsuspecting bachelorette and embarrass her to death in front of her friends and family (who may be embarrassed too!).

The bachelorette must endure this before she can proceed with opening the bachelorette gifts. There is an unwritten rule about bachelorette parties having to be naughty enough to keep the bachelorette and all the guests laughing the rest of the night with all those nasty dirty fun little bachelorette gifts!

If you are looking for a special gift that will be truly appreciated, consider pampering that special someone with aromatherapy gifts. Aromatherapy has become very popular as we become busier and look for things that make the small amount of time we have to ourselves special.

If I have had a particularly stressful day, I like to turn on a warm bath in the jet tub and dump in a handful of aromatherapy salts to help me to escape into relaxation. Lavender is my all time favorite, and is used in lots of different products like bath salts, bath oil, shower gel, body scrub, lotion, and body spray. There are tons of unique refreshing or relaxing aromatic scents to choose from; just try a different one each time and experience all of them!

Bath and Body Works and Victoria’s Secret has a great selection of aromatherapy gifts that are conveniently packaged in practical gift sets and baskets. You can visit your local store, or you can shop online. You can mix and match your own gift basket for an added personal touch, or select from one of the many aromatherapy gifts that are packaged attractively and affordably priced.

Even if you are not sure what the person’s personal fragrance preferences are, consider what type of person they are, what type of life style they have, etc. There are aromatherapy gifts for every individual need and pleasure. There’s not one woman I know who doesn’t enjoy a little pampering every now and then, and they may not always take the time or spend the money to do it. If you make the selection, all they have to do is enjoy it.

Even if you are selecting a gift for a seasoned veteran, who is knowledgeable in the ways of aromatherapy, you can select an aromatherapy gift or new fragrance or product that they have yet to try. And while you’re at it, why don’t you pick something out for yourself too? You deserve it, you know you do.

If you choose to shop online, check out the retail sites that specialize only in aromatherapy gifts, essential oils, burners, candles, bath and spa treatments, and aromatherapy accessories. Information is provided regarding what types of properties certain herbs have, and what works best for specific needs, such as stress reduction, promoting sleep, increasing energy levels, or just making you feel better.

Many sites offer express shipping to the recipient of your aromatherapy gift selection, and include a personal message from you. They won’t be disappointed, and they’ll be thinking of you as they reap the benefits of aromatherapy because of your great taste in gifts.

Aroma Blends. Massage Oils. Spiritual Guides. Authentic Ayurvedic Products from the source! Find it all at Chopra.com.
